Vishay Intertechnology introduces TNPW e3 series in 0201 case

The automotive-grade, high stability resistors offer a low TCR of ± 25ppm/K and have tight tolerances down to ± 0.1%. They increase accuracy in automotive, industrial, test and measurement and medical equipment, as well as consumer products, such as smartphones, tablets, smart watches and fitness trackers, says the company.

They offer long term stability, e.g. permitted maximum resistance change of  ≤0.05%  for 1,000 hours at rated power P70. The new case size joins 0402, 0603, 0805, 1206, and 1210 options. Resistors in the TNPW e3 series have resistance values from 10Ω to 3.01MΩ. They also offer moisture resistivity of 85% RH at 85°C, sulphur resistance in accordance to ASTM B 809 and a temperature range of -55 to 155°C, for stable operation even in harsh environmental conditions.

All resistors in the series are suitable for automatic surface mount assembly systems and automatic soldering. The resistors are halogen-free and RoHS-compliant, compatible with lead (Pb)-free and lead (Pb)-containing soldering processes.

Samples and production quantities are available now, with typical lead times of 12 weeks.
