Single-phase power capacitors have termination options
The single-phase series B32370 to B32374 power capacitors are designed for rated AC voltages of between 250 and 600V RMS and cover a capacitance range from 5.0 to 600µF. They have a maximum current capability of between 15 and 60A, depending on the type, says the company.

The can diameter ranges from 40 to 136 mm and heights range from 64 to 265mm. The reliable capacitors have a long service life of 100,000 hours (IEC 61071-1). The synthetic resin-filled capacitors are designed for a continuous operating temperature of 70°C. They comply with IEC 61071-1 and have UL approval, adds the company.

Three types of terminations are available, M6 to M10 screw terminals, as well as plug-in or clamp terminals. For secure fixation and simultaneous grounding, the capacitors have threaded studs on the base of the can. The capacitors are self-healing and have an internal over-pressure disconnector.

Typical applications are filters in UPS systems as well as output filter circuits in frequency converters and inverters for photovoltaic installations and wind power plants.
