Additional output voltages for the VCC300 power supply series
The power supplies in the series are now available with standard output voltages of 12, 15, 24, 28, 36, 48 and 56V DC. Models in the series can also be tailored to suit customer specific output voltages ranging between 12 to 58V DC without costly safety approvals and time consuming custom designs being undertaken, said the company.

For use in established industrial, IT and medical markets, the VCCS300 also meets the latest international medical (BF rated) and ITE safety approvals and is suited for use in ventilators and lab equipment as well as battery charging and PoE applications.

The supplies are suitable for class I or II equipment up to 5000m and carry multiple immunity and MIL-STD approvals including MIL-STD 810G, MIL-STD 461F, and MIL-STD 704F for use in applications in rugged and high vibration environments.

The VCCS300 offers power densities exceeding 23W/in3 with efficiencies up to 95% in a scalable power architecture. Power solutions of 300, 600, 900W, and beyond can be achieved by using the onboard droop current share function, advised Vox Power. This  allows end users to scale up or down depending on their power requirements.

The VCCS300 power supply series delivers 300W of continuous output power in a rugged 4.0 x 2.0 x 1.61-inch package. The miniature power supply package can be cooled using conduction, convection or forced air cooling techniques.

The power supply is designed for uses which require rugged reliability, high efficiency, silent operation and a medical BF rating, says the company. The power supplies carry a standard five year warranty.
