Stackpole Electronics says its NC Series of NTC thermistors provide a proven alternative as a robust alternative to multilayer thermistors for temperature sensing applications. Utilising thick film technology, the TNC Series can deliver superior mechanical strength, consistent part thickness across resistance values, and enhanced resistance to cracking — helping ensure long-term durability in demanding automotive, industrial, battery management, and medical electronics environments.

Available in 0402, 0603, and 0805 case sizes, the TNC Series supports resistance values from 50Ω to 500 KΩ, with B values ranging from 2410 KΩ to 4700 KΩ and operating temperatures up to 150°C depending on B value. The series can also provide strong solderability, excellent heat resistance, and fast thermal response, while meeting AEC-Q200 qualification standards. This combination of compact size, reliability, and performance makes the TNC Series well suited for temperature sensing, monitoring, and control applications where consistent, long-term performance is critical.
