Compact DC Relay for 800V DC Systems: G9EJH-1-E from Omron – Now Available from Rutronik
Rutronik has announced that the G9JH-1-E DC relay from Omron is new to its portfolio.

Rutronik has announced that the Currently said to be the smallest relay in the industry, weighing only 36 g, this 800 VDC relay has been specifically designed for pre-charge applications and is used, among other things, as an inrush current limiter for main relays. The relay can withstand at least 100,000 switching operations under a capacitive load of 800 VDC with inrush currents up to 30 A and is specified for operating temperatures from -40 °C to 85 °C. Thanks to its low contact resistance of max. 100 mΩ, the robust component features very low power dissipation. It also provides shock resistance up to 490 m/s² and impulse withstand voltage up to 4,500 V. Ideally suited for applications in energy storage or electric vehicle charging systems, the relay is available at
www.rutronik24.com.

Both the operate and release times of the relay are just 30 ms. The high dielectric strength
(2,500 VAC / min between contacts of the same polarity as well as between coil and contact) and the high insulation resistance (1,000 mΩ between coil and contact as well as between contacts of the same polarity) further increase both efficiency and durability. At 15 A, the contact voltage drop is only 0.2 V (max.).
