CISSOID Expands Product Portfolio with New Families of Power Modules
CISSOID, a leader in high-performance power semiconductor solutions, has announced it is broadening its range of standard products with the introduction of multiple new families of power modules.

The company says designed to address the growing demand for robust, efficient, and flexible solutions in automotive, industrial, and energy markets, these new module families cover a wide variety of current and voltage ratings, enabling engineers to select the most efficient configuration for their specific applications.

The expanded portfolio includes both Silicon Carbide (SiC) and IGBT technologies, available in industry-standard packages that can deliver enhanced mechanical robustness and drop-in compatibility. The company says this approach not only makes upgrades seamless but also adds greater design freedom, allowing system architects to balance performance and efficiency versus cost and mechanical integration more effectively and with these new offerings, CISSOID continues to provide designers with the building blocks needed to accelerate innovation in electric drive systems and power conversion.

The first product to be released in this expanded portfolio is a 750V, 820A IGBT power module, marking the start of a series of powerful new solutions. This high-current module is AQG-324 automotive qualified, and is said to exemplify CISSOID’s commitment to combining quality and reliability with cutting-edge performance, while offering compatibility with existing systems at a competitive price-point.

“With this expansion, we’re giving system designers the freedom to select from a wider range of proven, robust power modules, while ensuring drop-in compatibility with their existing designs,” said Pierre Delatte, Chief Technology Officer at CISSOID. “Our goal is to make it easier for our customers to accelerate their electrification projects by combining flexibility with the high reliability they expect from CISSOID.”
