Rutronik Expands its High-Power LED Portfolio for Professional Lighting Systems with the OSCONIQ P 3737 Batwing types
Rutronik has announced it is expanding its range of high-power LEDs for demanding lighting applications with the new OSCONIQ P 3737 Batwing series from ams OSRAM.

The company says the series includes various colour variants – from Hyper Red to Horti White – and impresses with its uniform light distribution, high efficiency and flexible application options within horticulture lighting. The OSCONIQ P 3737 Batwing series is available at www.rutronik24.com.

Rutronik says the OSCONIQ P 3737 Batwing series combines high light output with outstanding surface homogeneity and thanks to their special batwing beam profile (140°), the LEDs deliver uniform light distribution without hot spots – ideal for greenhouse, indoor and area lighting systems.

With a wall plug efficiency (WPE) of up to 80.1 % at 660 nm and 72.9 % at 730 nm and 85°C and 700 mA, the LEDs offer above-average energy efficiency. They are designed for currents up to 2800 mA, to realise compact fixtures with high photon flux values. In addition to that, the LEDs reach outstanding lifetime values, for instance for Hyper Red 102 khrs according to LM80 Q90.

The series comprises four main types, each optimised for a specific wavelength and application:

  • GH PUBRA1.25 (Hyper Red, λcentroid typ. 672 nm) – maximum photosynthetic efficiency for plant growth,
  • GF PUBRA1.25 (Far Red, λcentroid typ. 733 nm) – control of flowering and growth phases,
  • GD PUBRA1.15 (Deep Blue, λcentroid typ. 451 nm) – promotion of chlorophyll production,
  • GW PUBRA1.HW (Horti White, broad spectrum 400–700 nm) – full-spectrum lighting for mixed systems and human-centric lighting.

All variants are characterised by high reliability (up to 135 °C junction temperature), 8 kV ESD protection, robust SMD housing with silicone lens and a Made in Germany design.
