LED professional Symposium Expo: Call for papers
The international program committee has opened the Call for Papers.

Authors are invited to submit abstract of papers by February 20, 2015 for review and evaluation by the advisory board. Companies, as well as academic research institutes, are invited to submit their abstracts focusing on solid-state lighting technologies from the component to the system level. The wide range of topics includes light sources, optics, smart controls, drivers and sensors, thermal management and system integration.

Application and technology trends in lighting design, as well as cost and process optimisation in the fields of light sources, optics, smart controls and sensors, thermal management and system integration will be discussed at the three-day conference.

Parallel to the conference there will be an exhibition with over 100 companies showing innovations, products and services.

The LpS is an international platform connecting science, industry, business and application in discussions about future trends and solutions for the global LED lighting industry.

More than 1,100 visitors from 34 different countries attended the LpS 2014 and according to the statistics over the past 4 years, an increase of at least 20% can be expected in 2015.

The best scientific paper submitted by a university, research organisation or institute will be honoured with the LED professional Scientific Award. The winning paper will be presented at the LpS 2015 and published in the November/December issue of the LED professional Review. The author of the winning paper will also receive €3,000.
