The 40, 65 and 100W modules are designed for medical applications, with certifications including CE marked and third edition UL/IEC/EN60601-1 medical certified with 2MOPP/ 250V AC.
The modules offer continuous output power with free air convection cooling, low leakage (75µA) and BF-rated, trimmable 5.0 to 48V DC output voltages. Efficiency is up to 93%, and the modules offer low power dissipation and tight regulation over a wide range of output load and input voltage variations. No load power consumption is below 0.3W, ensuring that the series conforms to the ErP Ecodesign Directive.
The compact modules measure 3.0 x 2.0inch, making them suitable for open-frame and metal-enclosed designs; although the 100W is only available in a metal enclosure. The metal-enclosed design is shielded for conducted cooling and operator protection. All models operate from -40°C to 85°C.
These Class II power supplies have 4kV AC reinforced isolation between input and output and 1.5kV AC between I/O and EMC ground. All modules comply with EN60601-1-2 Medical EMC, FCC18 and EN55011 Class B EMC standards without external filtering and carry a five-year warranty.
Conformance to IEC60068-2-x for shock and vibration, makes the power supplies suitable for building into portable medical equipment for emergency services, outpatient clinics and home health care. All units are certified for operation up to 5000m altitude without derating, meaning that they can also be used in air ambulances or high-altitude clinics.
