Rail DC/DC converter module family has 72 new models

Covering 10 and 20W power output ratings, models include single 5.0, 12, 15, 24, or dual ±12 or ±15V outputs and input ranges of nine to 36V DC, 18 to 75V DC or 40 to 160V DC.

The encapsulated 25.4 x 50.8mm DIP modules are protected from atmospheric conditions without additional conformal coating. The DC/DC converter modules have wide operating temperature range of -40 to 85°C with derating. An optional heatsink can help heat dissipation and improve performance at high operating temperatures.

A reinforced insulation system with 3000V AC RMS I/O isolation, combined with high EMC immunity, qualifies the DC/DC converters for demanding embedded power applications in railway and other transportation systems. It is suitable for rolling stock applications such as engine management, traction control, door control, video surveillance, communications, entertainment, lighting and other on-board electrical equipment.

The first two series in the ERM family, the ERM75 and ERM50, offer 75 and 50W maximum power output respectively.
