The low capacitance TVS arrays are optimised for high speed line protection – for example USB, Thunderbolt, HDMI and PCI Express - with minimum capacitance to avoid the transmission error, says AOS.

All three TVS arrays are housed in a DFN package, either 2.5 x 1.0mm or DFN 2.0 x 1.0mm leadless surface mount device. The flow-through feature is also suitable for the route design of differential pairs on a PCB.

According to the company, the clamping voltage times capacitance reduces the ESD failure rate in laptops, televisions and other electronic devices.

The AOZ8S212UD4, AOZ8S321UD4, and AOZ8S306BD4 are immediately available in production quantities with a lead-time of 16 weeks.
