Returning to Long Beach, California for the first time since 2016, the 38 th annual Applied Power Electronics Conference (APEC 2024) will be held at the Long Beach Convention Center from 25 to 29 February 2024.

Registration is now open, and includes access to a range of papers, seminars and events, such as peer-reviewed tTechnical program paper presentations, industry sessions discussing the latest advances in commercial developments, as well as half-day professional education seminars presented by industry experts on a range of topics geared to both introductory to expert-level participants. 

The annual event addresses issues of immediate and long-term interest to power electronics engineers, equipment OEMs using power supplies adn DC/DC converters, designers of power supplies, DC/DC converters, motor drivers, uninterruptible power supplies, inverters and any other power electronic circuitry, equipment and systes as well as manufacturers and suppliers of components and assemblies used in power electronics. There is also material, presentations and companies relevant to manufacturing, quality and test engineers, compliance engineers, testing and qualifying power electronics equipment or equipment which uses power electronicsand sales and marketing personnel across the power electronics market sector.

In addition to the conference program, full registration includes admission to the sold-out APEC 2024 Exposition that brings together nearly 300 leading manufacturers. Special events – including the MicroMouse contest, the FIRST Robotics event and theWednesday evening Social Event are also part of this lively, interactive power electronics trade show.

There is also the opportunity to register early and book hotel reservations. APEC 2024 offers discounted rates at five hotels near the Long Beach Convention Center. Attendees are encouraged to secure their reservations early since hotels are expected to book up well in advance of the conference. (Please note that hotel reservations can be made only after completing conference registration, whereupon an automatic confirmation email is sent to the registered attendee with links to APEC’s contracted hotels.)
