It is based on the MCP1501 Vref architecture, which has been on the market for more than five years. Packaged in a small six-lead SOT-23, it is suitable for industrial, automotive and aerospace applications, advises Microchip.
The Vref IC joins the MCP1501 IC and both can be used as a companion device to the company’s microcontrollers, ADCs and DACs in systems for stable, accurate and repeatable data conversion. The MCP1502 is available in popular voltage level options from 1.0 to 4.0V.
