Researchers can submit an abstract on a research topic, and apply to be a speaker at the PCIM Europe Conference 2024. If accepted, speakers will have the opportunity to present to a qualified audience at PCIM Europe 2024 I Nuremberg from 11 to 13 June 2024.

In 2023, PCIM Europe was an international meeting place of the power electronics community with 507 exhibitors, over 16,500 visitors and 895 conference participants from science and industry.  

Contributions can be submitted up to 18 October 2023. Successful authors will have the chance to attract the attention of more than 800 participants, including experts from all areas of power electronics. In addition, the scientific work will be published in the PCIM Europe proceedings and in IEEE Xplore, IET Inspec-Direct, Knovel and Scopus databases. 

Presenters also receive direct feedback on their topic from representatives in the industry and academia enabling them to establish valuable contacts in the community. Speakers can talk to industry personalities, connect and network with peers and other industry experts.

In addition to 20-minute oral presentations on the stages at the Nuremberg Exhibition Center, there is also the opportunity for a poster presentation for direct 1:1 exchange between speakers and participants.

For the second year running, contributions can also be submitted for the seminars and tutorials. The half-day seminars and full-day tutorials will take place on the two days before PCIM Europe 2024 and present an opportunity for an intensive exchange in small groups on special topics.

Contributions will be evaluated by the members of the Advisory Board based on the actuality and relevance of the topic, the preparation of the documents and the significance of the abstract.

The best submissions have the chance to be honoured with prestigious awards in five categories. Outstanding authors will be highlighted, promoted through various channels, and will also receive a prize money of €1,000 each. 

The PCIM Europe also supports the participation of international students with travel grants (€500 each). Full-time students at an international university in the field of power electronics are qualified. In addition, the submitted contribution must be presented in person in Nuremberg.
