Compact 10W AC/DCs have OVC III rating
The modules are part of the Economy series and are supplied in a compact 1.8 x 1 inch (45.7 x 25.4mm) footprint. They are available with single 3.3, 5.0, 12, 15 and 24V fully regulated outputs and with a wide input range that includes nominal 100, 115, 240 and 277V AC (120 to 430V DC).

The modules have an Over Voltage Category OVC III rating up to 200m, making them suitable for harsh electrical environments such as in EV chargers. They have a wide operating temperature of -40 to 90 degrees C. They are certified to IEC/EN/UL/CSA 62368-1 and comply with OVC II up to 5000m, for use in applications in industrial and audio visual (AV) applications and ITE (information technology equipment).  Class B EMC limits are also met without external components and the parts are ErP-compliant with no-load losses of less than 100mW.

Efficiency up to 84%, depending on the variant, allowing for full load operation to 65°C ambient from 115 to 277V AC. The modules are fully protected against output short circuits, over-voltage and over-current and have a reinforced isolation rating of 4kV AC/minute. Isolation capacitance and leakage current are low at 100pF and 50µA maximum respectively.

The RAC10E-K/277 modules achieve over 1.7M hours MTBF at 25°C according to MIL-HDBK-217F and are supported by the company’s standard three-year warranty.

Samples and OEM pricing are available from all authorised distributors or directly from Recom.
