Semi-shielded power inductors are automotive-grade
The SRN2010BTA, SRN2510BTA, SRN3010BTA, SRN3012BTA and SRN3015BTA inductors are constructed with bottom-soldered lead wire, claimed to enhance mechanical strength and stability.

The semi-shielded power inductors are available in multiple footprints to suit differential choke power conversion for automotive systems, DC/DC converters and power supplies in consumer, industrial and telecomms electronics. According to Bourns, the inductors feature benefits of both non-shielded and shielded inductors, with a structure which provides lower magnetic field radiation compared to non-shielded inductors yet is also a more cost-effective alternative to fully shielded ferrite-based inductors.

The SRN2010BTA, SRN2510BTA, SRN3010BTA, SRN3012BTA and SRN3015BTA semi-shielded power inductor series are RoHS-compliant and halogen-free. They are available now.
